It's a great day for a
Pomegranate Festival.

So, attend one today is exactly what I did.
It's fall.
A personal favorite.
And a pomegranate jubilee was the perfect way to celebrate.

These little pretties caught my eye.

Alligator Jelly and Bam Jam.
So. Good.

What a lovely, little event.
Stick around a while fall.
I like you.

What are your favorite fall festivities?

After my long vacation in Carlsbad, I was able to spend some time at home in Logandale.
I got to go to a couple of my little brother, Landon's, football games.
I got to do some work around the house with Dad.
I got to go running with Tibi.
I got to spend some time with Lexie, Sharrid and the boys.
It was great!
I also got to have a neighbor reunion BBQ with these girls!
Myself, Lexie, Mady, Tibi, Arie and Austrie enjoying our cheeseburgers and each other's company.
I was also treated to a wonderful Sunday School lesson given by Landon.
It's coming on Fall, which means, bring on the NCAA football games!
Landon gave a very detailed lesson on teams, conference updates, etc.
Leave it to Landon to know EVERYTHING about EVERY TEAM.
Prep for football season? Check.
Thanks Lando!

For Memorial Day Weekend I got to go home! Thanks to Kira who drove from SLC. On Saturday Kira, Tibi, Landon and I went to the Valley of Fire and hiked around. The weather couldn't have been better and we had a lot of fun. I love the desert. So pretty. Here are a ton of pictures of our adventure. It was really nice to be home for the weekend and hang out with the family. Thanks Kira! Happy Memorial Day and hello summer! P.S. If you click on the pictures you can see them a lot better.

I love this picture. I think it needs to be in a magazine.

My 60's spread of the Valley of Fire.

This shadowed canyon was a fun little place to play.

Landon.
I imagine he is thinking, "Don't act like you're not impressed."

I love holidays and adventures! Bring em' on!
How did you spend your Memorial Day Weekend?
I'm glad that all dogs go to heaven because I love these two dogs. Shasta, the Oddou's dog, died earlier this month. A few days later Kit love died. I was really sad and home won't be the same without her. I always wanted Shasta and Kit to be friends. Now that they are in doggie Heaven they can be friends and maybe get married. My mother wrote a great post about Kit that can be read here.

Some things.

I'm in Logandale for the time being and I recently got a job at Wally's. Yes, you read that right. Wally's. I actually really like it so far, (even though we have to wear the ugggliest shirts ever). It will only be for the next few months and I'm really lucky and grateful to have a job! It's less than five minutes away, so that's a really nice feature as well. :)

I'm back in the good ole' Logandale Singles Branch. This place is something else, but it's good to be back for the next bit. I got my old calling back (teaching Relief Society), which I love. And I just love President Leavitt. It's nice to be here.

Other than my business life at Wally's, I've been spending all of my time cleaning out/fixing up my mother's scrapbook/sewing/hobby room. I really wish I would have taken a before picture. If you haven't seen it, it looked a lot like
this... only it had some really hideous wallpaper as well. Or.. have you ever seen the television show called Hoarders? Enough said. It's still a long work in progress, but I think it will be worth the time. I'll be sure to post some before (sort of) and after pictures.

I'm so excited for General Conference. What a lovely weekend.

Fair Time - Easter - Family Pictures 2009
Here are some pictures of my family at the fair. For more/better pictures go to my parent's or sisters' blogs.
The kids always really enjoy the animals at the fair.
Marce is pretty much obsessed with trains and Eden is pretty much obsessed with Marce. Cute.
This picture is really sweet.
Dad stayed pretty busy during the fair, but was able to sneak away for some family time every now and then. P.S. I didn't get a shower this day... at all.
Kira- being a nerd about something.
She was probably just really excited to sit with this guy. It was actually really hard to sit by this dummy long enough to take the picture. It was creepy.
I had the privilege of hiding the Easter eggs for our hunt on Saturday morning. The kids loved it.

Here are some of the family pictures.
Our HSM picture! Rad.
This was probably the most decent picture I got.
Dad and Mother
My face looks so fat in these. Haha... fair week.

Taking pictures of the kids was kind of a joke... and church with them was an even bigger joke.

It was really fun having everybody come! I already miss them!

Winter FunDad had the older grandkids help with some yardwork
while they were here. Sure doesn't look like hard work!
