Another trip to Carlsbad?

Yes, please!

My sister, Kira, wanted to take a little road trip, Carlsbad included! We've been enjoying the beach and all of North County's Beauty for about a week and a half. Soon we'll be in Mesa to visit our sister, Connie, and her family. It's been nice to finally spend some time with Kira.

We don't play volleyball. But we play volleyball.

Of course In-N-Out is enjoyed.

When finals week was over, I headed to SLC to spend a couple of days with my sister Kira before going to Logandale. I had car trouble all the way down. It was all great timing since I was driving down during the hottest part of the day with no air conditioning, not to mention I was on a time schedule. By the time I got to Kira's (well, around the corner and down the street because my car wouldn't quite make it) I was so frustrated, sweaty and upset that all I wanted was a shower, a drink of water and a good cry. Luckily, Kira came and saved the day. She took me to a Fleet Foxes concert! It was amazing! My favorite band at my new favorite venue. It was at the Red Butte Gardens Amphitheater. The weather was perfect, the surroundings were beautiful and the sound was amazing. Easily one of the best, if not THE best, concert I've ever been to. We snacked on Cracker Jacks, relaxed in the cool grass and rocked out with the hippies a bit. Great concert. Thanks Kira!

This guy has been on my bucket list for a while, so when I saw he was FINALLY touring in the States and would be in SLC I jumped at the chance and went with my sister, Kira. It was a ton of fun to hang with her and the concert totally delivered. I was stoked to hear so many of my favorite songs of his. And I was even more stoked to have him direct me and the rest of the audience. I've always wanted to be a part of that and now, I have been! And it was awesome. Here is a video of it that totally takes away from how cool it actually was, but that's okay.

For Memorial Day Weekend I got to go home! Thanks to Kira who drove from SLC. On Saturday Kira, Tibi, Landon and I went to the Valley of Fire and hiked around. The weather couldn't have been better and we had a lot of fun. I love the desert. So pretty. Here are a ton of pictures of our adventure. How did you spend your Memorial Day Weekend?

And there went November. Thanksgiving was great and is basically all I remember about this November. Seriously. So, here is a picture overload of Thanksgiving in Santa Clara.

I think the trick is to sit by Randy and Penny's family. OR the sure trick is to not sit by the family in charge that year.

It's THIS beauty's BIRTHDAY today! Happy Birthday TIBI! She's sweet 16 and I can't believe it. I'm so sad that they are growing up, and so glad that they are part of the family... (the babies). I miss you Tib! I miss laughing with you. I love you so much!

Hello. I've been around. I've been in Portland. I've been in Provo. I've been in Logandale. I've been to the Cabin. I went and worked in Portland for two weeks. It rained a lot. I went to visit family and friends in Utah. Tibi and I went swimming all week with cousins while we were there. It was really fun. I went to the MOA and the french bakery in Provo with Nicole and Yosh. We also went to SLC to listen to Floyd and Von sing with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. That was really great. In Logandale I had fun with people in the ward and went to activities. Mostly went swimming everyday because it was too hot to do anything else. I went night fishing on the lake also. That was really enjoyable. Now I'm back in good old Carlsbad... Tender Mercies. :)
